Another World (My latest book)

A land of darkness, despair, agony, and pain. The world I lived in only touched the surface of evil, the place I moved to, however, dove in head first, lavished in the harsh realities of the world, laughed at the pain that it created, smiled at hardship, and greeted sorrow with open arms. This place was called The Core. I moved from a city called Mitte. I've wondered about these names, contemplated their meaning, the reasons why the founders of these lands didn't just name them after themselves, like in the old world. The continents: The Americas, for instance. It was named after an explorer. Why couldn't we be simplistic and name it Iceland cause it's green, or Greenland cause there is icy. Seems reasonable enough for me. However, this is not the case. The lands were named, in my opinion, not based on origin, who discovered it, what it looked like, but by what lived there. The creatures that were in Mitte thrived, there was surplus to be found everywhere, a world so easy, care free, helpful. It was full of sunshine, radience, and love. Now, I lived in a place where the creatures that stalked the streets were vicious, full of fury and blood thirst that I dared not go out of my house half hour before moon rise and until moon fall. It was a scary city, full of greed, distruction, disaray and demise.
So why am I here? I'm a civilized creature of Mitte. I've never done anyone wrong, I've never created a problem in Mitte. So why send me to The Core? It is because I have a power, a gift from the Sun.
It was given to me on the dawn of my 13th birthday, a creature of elegence decended from the heavens to give me a necklace. One of pride, beauty, and faith. Yes, faith. I had to believe in my gift in order for it to work.
She had come from the skies, her hair a dark but angelic brown, the curls framed her pale, silk skin. The blue of her eyes glowed with an intensity that was simply breath taking. Her dress flowed on the beams of the sun, the white folds of satin danced around her body. She was the ideal picture of beauty. Her name was Sierra, the Goddess of Light.

The Grand Finale

bum bum bum! *scary music* So I was re reading some of my entries and I came across this epic game plan for school. It seemed like an unstoppable plan, it would be futile to try and thwart it. Well something did. I'm not sure what, but it did. My grades were better, minus math but that's cuz I suck at math. But other than that my grades were steller. I am taking the ACT in April, not February. I got too caught up in other crap to do the ACT. So I am finally doing it. I'm busy as usual doing debate, litmag, art, medieval stuffs, etc. Everything has been chaotic at my house and with my friends. I even went through a phase where I didn't talk to one of my close friends because of drama surrounding her and what she did to my family. But I'm talking to her again cause I'm forgiving like that. ^_^ To add on to the chaos at my house my cat had kitties a week or so ago. Three beautiful babies! 2 black and 1 orange. The orange one's name is Rambo. he's the boy(I think.) If the other two are boys I want to name them Black Jack and Captain Hook. But they are looking to be girls thus far. Grr. And even more excitement my basset hound is having Puppies. Well I've heard a rumor that dogs breasts only enlarge to the number of puppies they are going to have. If this is the case she is having 8. That's a lot. And to make it worse she is barely a year old. And the father of the pups is my Aussie Shepherd/Black Lab. That's quite the mix. Nature has a way of making baby animals cute. Let's hope this is the case with these puppies. I don't know how well we will be able to find them homes. So people HELP! Find them homes. When they are ready to go away from the mother we will let you know. ^_^

I think she is only like a week or so away from having puppies.

So all in all, life has been chaotic and fun.

The power of wind...

So I'm on a global debate team and I need help. We are presenting a plan to make our portables energy independent. In other words, the portables will run on wind. ^_^ And solar power. O.o So I just need some assistance. Anyone have valuable info? Anyone want to tell me what I should do for a photo essay? or a PSA or a mash up? Something!?
